Close call...............

Thank you Parisians!    I had been very busy before i went on my trip to Asia so i was not very concentrated during my flight change at Paris Orly.  Arrived form BCN , had to go to another terminal to catch my flight to Kuala Lumpur and noticed in the train between terminals that my handbag was no longer with me. It contained basically everything  i DID NOT want to lose : credit cards, cash, 2 mobile phones, etc etc ...;) Since i was quite late for my flight ( a habit i seem to have picked up over the years...;) i decided to check in anyway and then later deal with reporting my bag stolen. My suitcase on the scale and .....8 kilos too much which should be paid extra for,  the very unfriendly airasia service lady told me.  I explained i lost my bag so had no wallet but she was totally uncooperative so only option was to empty 8 kilos.....so liters of olive oil and cava i brought as gifts were sacrificed...this process took about 45 minutes and since i had 28 minutes left before my flight left i decided to take the gamble ( traveling without a single euro or roepie nor credit cards to india was not very attractive anyway) and check in the other terminal if someone maybe had left it at lost and found....ran to the terminal train station , took the train to find out at the lost and found desk that nobody had reported it....quite desperate i had flashes on me being homeless sleeping in the streets of India without any money for the rest of my life .... i then spotted my trolly lonely at the entrance of the train station ....with my hand bag still in it ....;)!!!!!

I must have been away for an hour and probably 5000-10,000 people must have passed that entrance and nobody had stolen my bag......the cask, mobiles and everything else was still in it.......thank you Parisians...i will defend you the rest of my life if anyone says you are arrogant, unbearable or unsympathetic!!!

I sprinted back to south terminal and yesssssss i was able to catch my flight!! ok all Orly airport knew that mrs christiaanse had to proceed to the gate or her lugage would be offloaded...and the people at security let me use the diplomats entrance but I made it !  I am on my way to India !
