A friend of mine told me this story recently: she had had her 3 kids in 4 years and was totally exhausted because the last one did not want to eat well and was crying all night. Since her husband was not really involved with the kids and could not be bothered to help her with anything but instead disappeared and went out with his friends, she was left alone a lot with the kids and had hardly slept for the last few weeks.
One day they went to the office of a friend of theirs and there were a lot of very young female employees working there which her husband visibly enjoyed looking at and flirted with. Back in the car he told my friend:
"You look so tired .....why don´t you get some more sleep so you look a bit more like these nice young girls in the office that look so fresh and rested......???????
Susanna called a friend of hers that if she would not come to pick her up right now she would kill her husband. That friend picked her up and advised her to meditate instead and that is how Susanna got involved with yoga and meditation......
and by the way, she is no longer living with her husband... :) he died.....

Made is looking for a tourist husband
In a village close to Gunung Agung Bali´s main volcano http://www.volcanodiscovery.com/volcanoes/indonesia/bali/agung/, Made (female 42 years old , 4 kids ) told me the story of her life during a massage:
she got married at 19 and the first few years were very happy and she very much was in love with her husband and he with her. He always bought her little presents and they used to go for walks together. But then he started to ask her for money and beat her when she did not give it to him. She started to work more and more and he less and less. She had kid after kid and he started to disappear for days. The first few times she was worried something happened to him but then she realized he was with other women. He just came every so many days to ask her for money. When she said she needed it for the children he beat her sometimes so bad that her whole face was black and blue. For a long time she still loved him and hoped he would change into the man he once was. But things only got worse and finally six years ago she divorced him. She cannot find another Balinese man because her youngest son (16) is disabled and cannot work so she has to take care of him. He sometimes is aggressive too if she does not give him money but that is because he is mentally disabled not because he is a bad person. But Balinese men will not accept that she gives him money, they will want that money for themselves.
Now Made is looking for a tourist husband. They might not mind that she has a disabled son and will not mind she works to support her son and not her husband. Her sister is married to a Belgian and is very happily living in Belgium with a "very nice although not so young man...."
Made wants to find one as well but the problem is that she lives in a village near the volcano and all the tourist men that come here already have nice Balinese girlfriends they found on the beach. So now she is thinking to go to the beaches closer to airport to find good tourist husband. First come first served and she needs that first mover advantage because "now already 6 years without husband". She heard the man that come are very sleepy the first few days and sleep on the beach during their first days in Bali because of jetlag and very easy to find one when they are sleepy".
I only hope Made does not run into Arie the dutch fully tatoed snackbar owner who was sitting behind me the other day in Seminiak while i had breakfast and was boasting to his friends about all the Balinese women he had been with in the last few years....."you just have to give them the feeling you will marry them and they do just anything for you, especially the young ones" and young for Arie was below the legal drinking age in any European country.....
But with her 42 years I don´t have to worry too much about Made falling in the hands of Arie. In the best case Made will end up with a nice widower or retired northern European or Australian of over 65.
I wished her all the best on her Christmas mission to the beaches of Kuta and Legian this week.....

Just as information for my single male friends: Made is quite goodlooking, looks around 35 years old , has a very nice friendly face and is leaning to read and write right now and speaks ok but broken english....sorry no picture available and emailing and smsing in the beginning of your long distance relationship will be hard....ohh and last but not least : she gives great massages!
