An ironed bikini top.......

I  took my clothes to a laundry service here on Bali before I went to the Gilis.  It is very cheap and you get everything back in a nice bag with everything ironed neatly. I love taking my things to the laundry here! 


This time however I found out that they did a very thorough job and had ironed my preshaped  foam bikini top ( in dutch: voorgevormde cup)  as well.....It is totally flat ....it looks like a shelve now.  No matter what i tried , my assets look very weird in it and i can definitely not show up at the beach like this.....


Tried to find another bikini but Balinese women do not seem to have the same size.....eventhough i lost some weight....

Ellen with rasta hair..........

I just came back from the Gili islands where there is no sweet water except from mineral water bottles.  The towel they gave me in the bungalow reminded me of my towel after i slept on Greek beaches for 5 weeks about 3 decades ago.....because of the salt it must have weighted at least 4 kilos.  The sheets were clean but salty and very heavy as well, the shower was with salt water as well.  So after i washed my hair for 3 days with salt water and snorkeling for hours it turned into a rasta look...at least 40% of my hair is now in some tight strings which i am totally unable to disentangle.....shame i have no photos of it but these Bali pictures will probably be my last photos with long hair for a while.......
